As I understand it, put the wheel in the rather strange personalities and help in the Navigator. Knowledge of indigenous language, knowledge of the city and regulatory lexicon in communication with the passenger, it turns out, are not welcome. Question: I do not knows whether this service is similar to the character? I described the incident to Facebook. My post responded to Dmitry Volkov, who presented himself as a service employee "Yandex.Taxi".

Instead of the taxi information service

Unlike taxis aggregators are not responsible for the accident, the safety of passengers being late to the airport and a technical malfunction of the car. All this leads to tragic consequences.

Coordinator of the "Society of blue buckets" Peter Shkumatov some time ago studied the situation in Russian taxi on my own experience. He decided to work as a taxi driver in "Yandex.Taxi," Uber, Gett and "Citymobil". "Now the taxi market are two groups – he said "Our Version". Is the taxi company and aggregator of taxi services. The latter have contracts with taxis or private drivers, registered as individual entrepreneurs. People working there wear. The average bill is in a big city and 150-200 rubles.

In total, according to statistics, which was given us by Peter Shkumatov, referring to private data of traffic police, the accident involving a taxi, working with aggregators of services over the past year there were about 1000 deaths. No compensation unfortunately, mobile applications are creating the conditions for illegal activities, including for attracting illegal operators. "There is no accounting and tax for working drivers, no responsibility to the passenger in case of emergency. Consumers are attracted to price at the cost of the trip. Most drivers do not understand the loss of such activities and are involved in this "pyramid" – says the Chairman of the interregional trade Union "Taxi driver" Yaroslav Scherbinin. Clear: monitoring requires investment of additional resources, and the "host" service is aimed at getting "quick money". As a result, none of the victims in accidents with taxis on the mobile app, never got insurance. A year and a half ago in St. Petersburg at-fault driver who worked through "Yandex.Taxi" crashed the top Manager of one of the largest online laboratories Elena Grashchenkova. When the car came, the woman is confused: the car had a logo, so Elena was sure that receives the service from Yandex. However, the trip ended in a major accident.

The result Graschenkova received, as determined forensic examination, "serious bodily injury with loss of capacity by a third." The woman was counting on compensation from "Yandex.Taxi", but , alas, got nothing. It turned out that the passenger service center, working with an aggregator, has not the right to insurance or any guarantees. "The reaction of Yandex after the accident was like this: "We just provide the information mediation service through the software, she said. – Excuse me, gentlemen, but it was you who sent me this particular driver responsible for the accident! When I started out, it became clear that the aggregators work with unknown people without checking neither driving skills nor the origin of the machine, which they rent, or the presence of CTP. I have submitted an application to the court." The position of aggregators continues to be evasive: if the state will oblige to insure passengers, we will do.

But by and large to insure the passenger they are not profitable: in this case, managers will be forced to disclose your data, including on the "left parties", which often work. Elena Grashchenkova said: "the problems of taxis has grown to the extent of the social problem. Deceived people think they use taxis, and in the event of an accident, it turns out that they just provided the services. Lately the idea to amend the Federal law dated 14.06. 2012 № 67-FZ "On compulsory insurance of civil liability of the carrier for damage to life, health, property of passengers and on the procedure for compensation of such harm caused at transportations of passengers by underground", extending its effect on organizers of transportation of an automobile taxi". Where will it end, is difficult to say. But that taxi has become a headache for many agencies, traffic police, courts, prosecutors, expert Bureau, is an indisputable fact.
