Google DeepMind group created for teaching AI ethics
Material posted: Publication date: 06-10-2017
Google has long been leading in developing their own artificial intelligence called DeepMind. For the further development of its technology, according to Engadget, the experts working on AI, organized a group, which will examine the moral issues of the development of artificial intelligence.

The members of the new group will explore how AI is changing the world, whether it is possible to control it (and is it necessary), as well as issues of how to ensure the impartiality of its decisions. It should be noted that a similar group from Google was already one and a half years, but only now the state was considerably increased (from 8 to 25 people), and issues with "local" has shifted to "global". The newly created team will have 6 main areas of work: the impact of AI on people's privacy, transparency and objectivity of artificial intelligence in decision-making, the impact of AI on the economy, the subordination of man, the study of the concepts of morality and value of life, the search for solutions to global challenges.

The main goal of a group of researchers, will be the possibility of developing algorithms which could "instill" the ethics of artificial intelligence, which could then transfer the experience similar to how we raise children, explaining to them what is good and what is bad. However, even though it is a great success in the development of AI, such a decision remains controversial. Despite the fact that the establishment of such a Committee indicates the seriousness of the intentions of large corporations in the development of artificial intelligence, a little scary to realize that their decisions and what they will teach your AI, can be strongly affected almost all aspects of life of future generations.
