Participants noted that currently Russia has legislation that allows you to develop the shipping companies that have "cheap" money, but sometimes the owners don't always have confidence in the future, while their investment activities they are planning for 10 - 15 years.
Answering the question that you need to shipowners went to the river , the Deputy Minister of transport of the Russian Federation – head of Federal Agency of sea and river transport Viktor Olersky named two main factors: "it is the understanding of the long-term tariff policy of the Railways in providing seasonal discounts on portions parallel with the river. When it will understand the shipowners, they would be easier to plan your activities for the next 10-15 years.
And a second position normal for any business is the ratio of supply and demand, refers to the dynamics of output of the old fleet.
When shipowners will see that this dynamic is obvious, and every year we have increases, investment in the river fleet will increase".
"Today as a significant part of the river fleet is that it is easier to build new than to invest in maintaining the old. Therefore, in the next 2-3 years, I think that we will see a picture fold increase in orders in the river fleet," - concluded Viktor Olersky.
