The center for problem analysis and state governance design, Moscow state University Institute. M. V. Lomonosov with the support of the National antiterrorist Committee (NAC) conducted a round table on the theme: "an Information war against the Russian Federation: institutionalization of information warfare in the context of implementing the national security Strategy of the Russian Federation".

Problematic issues:

1. Main categories and concepts in the context of information warfare: information and disinformation, mind control, terrorism, and ideology of terrorism.

1. Information as a resource of political influence.

2. Information confrontation – as a factor of geopolitics.

3. Social and political consequences of aggression.

4 Features of distribution of ideology of extremism and terrorism on the territory of the Russian Federation:

structures involved in of aggression against the Russian Federation;

- legal and covert forms and methods of hostile activity in the information sphere.

5. The formation and development of system of counteraction to information aggression against Russia:

- Russian associations and organizations that provide counter hostile information activities;

- the features of reflection of information attacks that are conducted using electronic and print media, the Internet, billboards, etc.;

- youth as the main object of protection from negative information impact;

- formation of mechanisms of counteraction to distribution of ideology of extremism and terrorism.
