The presence of the engine on "heavy" fuel and the possibility of making ship-based Arctic version VRT300 indispensable as icebreakers and drilling platforms.

Thanks to the target load of 70 kg, the complex can be used to transport various goods, such as food and medical supplies, search and rescue operations and determine the parameters of the ice fields, suitable for scientific research stations.

Background: the Complex VRT300 performed Opticvision is designed to develop a system of diagnostics, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations in the sphere of production and transportation of energy resources. Other tasks of the complex include: diagnostics of overhead power lines, mapping, transportation of goods, search of work, and monitoring the environment, roads and roadside infrastructure.

The crew of the newest diesel-electric icebreakers of the Northern fleet "Ilya Muromets" has started ice testing ice fields in the Eastern part Barnechea sea. Recently the ship approached the ice edge, whose position corresponds to the average values of long-term observations.

The thickness of the ice in the area of testing varies from 50 to 100 centimeters. Cohesion is 9-10 points. Thus, the testing conditions are most favorable and correspond to the technical capabilities of the icebreaker. ON MILITARY-TECHNICAL COOPERATION

The General staffs of the CIS countries intend to cooperate in the use of unmanned aircraft. The agreement was reached at the meeting of chiefs of General Staff of the armed forces of CIS countries in Kazan.

"The meeting participants supported the development of cooperation in the field of application of unmanned aircraft and counter unmanned aerial vehicles," - said in an interview with reporters, the chief of the General staff of the Russian Armed forces army General Valery Gerasimov.

In addition, during the meeting, reports were presented about the use of unmanned aircraft in counterterrorism operations in Syria. We also analyzed the status of safety aviation of the armed forces of the CIS countries in 2017.
