The book is about the relations between Ukraine and NATO is a proactive development authors and is aimed at informing wide sections of the population with objective information on military-political Alliance of leading countries and their policies regarding the involvement of Ukraine in the military unit.

The political forces headed by V. Yushchenko, they control the media perform the manipulation of public opinion on the issue of national security of Ukraine, and plant the image of the enemy in the face of Russia and the need to confront her only as a part of NATO.

To key posts in organs of state and military control of V. Yushchenko appointed pranatosmi configured frames. For implementation of public information programmes on NATO with broad involvement of means and resources of the state budget since September 2008 is connected and the security service of Ukraine.

In Ukraine, no political force is able to systematically resist this policy, to provide assistance in the implementation of which in Ukraine under the guise of civil society organizations established various centers and institutes, and financial information which is fed by the West (USA) and has published hundreds of papers on the benefits of Ukraine's integration into NATO. In these works, as NATO itself, and the consequences of membership of Ukraine, to highlight only the positive side.

The authors in a historical retrospective show the role of the West (USA) in psychological operations introduction in public consciousness of the Ukrainian people need integration into NATO, provide legal and information support of changes in the non-aligned status in NATO integration, the introduction of "agents of influence" in the highest echelons of power, etc.

The authors introduce readers to the possible consequences of Ukraine's integration into NATO for Ukraine's national security and stability in Europe, but do not impose to the reader his vision of the future options for development of Ukraine.

The authors hope that their book will contribute to the implementation of the State target program of informing the public on the issues of Euro-Atlantic integration for 2008-2011.
